Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using OneVault ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

OneVault is a personal records application. It lets you record items that need attention on a date — insurance policies, medicines, documents, bills, vehicles, property, valuables and dates to remember — along with amounts, history, attached photos and documents, and dateless notes for reference information. It reminds you before those dates and keeps a record of what you did.

Not Professional Advice

OneVault is a record-keeping and reminder tool only. It does not provide legal, financial, insurance, tax, or medical advice of any kind.

• Nothing in the App constitutes a recommendation to buy, renew, cancel, or change any policy, product or medication
• Consult a qualified professional for decisions about insurance, finances, legal documents or health
• The developer is not responsible for any decision made on the basis of information displayed in the App

Reminders Are Not a Guarantee

• iOS limits how many notifications an app may have pending at once; OneVault schedules the soonest ones first
• You are responsible for verifying that important deadlines are met
• The developer accepts no liability for a missed renewal, expiry, payment or appointment

User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of all data entered into the App
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data through iCloud or an encrypted device backup
• You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for protecting access to the App, particularly given that Notes may contain passwords and other credentials
• You should not rely solely on the App for record-keeping of documents you cannot replace

Free Trial and In-App Purchase

OneVault is free to use for 30 days from first launch, with every feature available. The trial is anchored to your Apple Account rather than to the installation, so deleting and reinstalling the App does not start it again.

After the trial ends, without purchase:

• Everything you have already added keeps working in full — editing, marking items done, adding history entries, attaching and removing files, reminders, search, archive, restore and delete all continue to function
• Only creating new items, new categories and new notes requires the one-time purchase
• Nothing is ever hidden, locked away, or deleted because a trial expired

• The in-app purchase is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks the App permanently
• There is no subscription and no recurring charge of any kind
• All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies
• To request a refund, contact Apple directly through their standard refund process — the developer cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases
• Your purchase can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple Account, using Restore Purchase on the unlock screen

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, icons, and visual elements, is the intellectual property of Karthikeyan Sriraman. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its components
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App's design elements, branding, or assets without permission
• Resell or redistribute the App

The App bundles the Fraunces and Outfit typefaces under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Their licences are reproduced in full under Settings → Acknowledgements.

Data Ownership

You own all data you enter into the App. We do not claim any rights to your personal information, documents or records, and we have no means of accessing them. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Timely or successful delivery of reminders
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Successful synchronisation through iCloud, which depends on Apple's services
• Compatibility with future operating system updates

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, documents or attachments
• Consequences of a missed renewal, expiry, payment, refill or appointment
• Losses arising from a reminder that did not appear or appeared late
• Inability to access the App
• Disclosure of information stored in the App following loss or compromise of your device

Availability

• The App requires iOS 18 or later
• The App runs on iPhone and iPad
• iCloud sync requires an active iCloud account and an internet connection
• Reminders require notification permission to be granted
• Face ID / Touch ID requires compatible hardware and a device passcode
• The App may not be available in all countries or regions

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Updated terms will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Your purchased access does not expire and can be restored on any device using the same Apple Account.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Apple's Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for licensed applications, available at: apple.com/legal
